Uninterruptible power supply in On-Line technology (VFI), GMSE-AT series with a power of 10 kVA/10 kW, 3-phase input/output, autonomy time 8 minutes (40x9Ah). Data cable included. Automatic bypass, RS232 interface, potential-free contacts. Dimensions (HxWxD): 1025 x 380 x 850 mm, weight: 180 kg.
The installation and maintenance of the UPS must only be carried out by qualified personnel!
The UPS systems must not be operated without an earth connection, as system-related leakage currents can occur. The first step is to connect the earth conductor to the terminal marked PE (yellow/green).
The UPS generates a leakage current of more than 3.5 mA (see leakage current value in the operating manual). Caution: The leakage currents of the connected loads add up to the leakage current of the UPS at the earth connection.
The UPS requires a neutral conductor for proper operation. A missing neutral conductor could lead to damage to the UPS.
Dangerous electrical voltages can occur inside the UPS even with open input switches and/or open battery switches. The inside of the UPS is protected by partition walls that may only be removed by qualified personnel. Tools are required for all installation and maintenance work or work that requires access to the inside of the UPS; this work may only be carried out by qualified personnel.
The UPS contains an internal battery system as a source of energy. All terminals and plugs can be live even when the UPS is not connected to the mains.
The battery voltage can be dangerous: improper handling can result in an electric shock. The battery compartment is protected by partition walls that may only be removed by qualified personnel. Tools are required for all installation and maintenance work on the batteries that requires access to the inside of the UPS; this work may only be carried out by qualified personnel. If batteries are replaced, they must be disposed of or recycled in accordance with local laws. Do not throw batteries into a fire, they can explode. Do not attempt to open the batteries, they do not require internal maintenance. The electrolyte is dangerous for skin and eyes and can be poisonous.
Do not switch on the UPS if a liquid leak is noticeable or white powdery residue is visible.
Under no circumstances may liquids and/or foreign objects get into the UPS.
In case of danger, the UPS must be switched off with the main switch and all existing disconnectors must be opened. A connected emergency stop switch can deactivate the inverter.
Do not open the battery fuses if the UPS load is supplied by the battery via the inverter. Opening the battery fuse can cause an arc and lead to the destruction of the device and/or fire.
If there is no mains supply, the energy for the load is supplied by the battery and opening the battery fuses would lead to the load being switched off.
If necessary, fuses should only be replaced with new fuses of the same type.
To connect an external battery system, the supplied connection cable or an approved connection cable must be used.
The warning sticker included with the UPS must be attached to all disconnecting devices installed upstream of the UPS.
