Assessment
Accessories are not an end in themselves. They keep your UPS ready for operation.
A UPS system remains reliable only when the battery, monitoring, bypass, signaling paths and installation accessories match the system and the way it is operated. The wrong battery, missing monitoring or an unplanned service access path can lead to outages, unnecessary maintenance risks or missing alerts when it matters most.
That is why ERREPI does not look at batteries and accessories in isolation. We review the system, model, age, load, desired runtime, installation location and maintenance window. From that we determine whether a single replacement battery, a complete battery set, a battery kit, an SNMP adapter, a service bypass or other accessories make sense.
The right accessories help keep your UPS predictable to operate, easy to monitor and accessible during maintenance.
SNMP adapters, monitoring and alerts for operation, alarming and shutdown.
Service bypasses, alarm contacts and accessories for controlled maintenance workflows.
Rack rails, connection accessories and components for rack rooms and technical rooms.
Quick starts
Choose accessories by task
Start with the need you have right now. We guide you from battery, runtime, monitoring, bypass and rack accessories to the right component or service.
Do you need a replacement battery for an existing UPS system? We check the model, quantity, voltage, capacity, form factor, connections, age and desired runtime.

The right UPS battery depends on more than just 12V and Ah
Many UPS batteries look similar, but they are not automatically interchangeable. For a safe battery replacement, voltage, capacity, dimensions, connections, number of batteries, battery configuration and the exact UPS model must all match.
ERREPI helps you choose the right replacement batteries, battery sets and battery kits. That way you avoid ordering the wrong parts and make sure runtime, compatibility and maintainability fit the system you already have.

Battery replacement and service
Replace UPS batteries in time
Batteries are wear parts. As they age, available capacity drops and actual backup time can be much shorter than expected. Battery replacement should therefore be planned before the UPS can no longer bridge the load reliably in an emergency.
ERREPI supports replacement batteries, battery sets, battery kits, checks of existing systems and service-oriented planning of the replacement.
- Check battery age and condition
- Clarify runtime requirements
- Select the right battery set
- Check interchangeability and service access
- Plan a maintenance window
- Assess the legacy system or successor model
- Check monitoring and alerts
- Take future service intervals into account
Note: If a UPS contains multiple batteries, the replacement should usually be assessed as a matching battery set. Please do not replace individual batteries on speculation without considering the system, configuration and condition.
SNMP adapters and monitoring
Make UPS status visible
A UPS should not be invisible during operation. With SNMP adapters, interfaces and monitoring, states such as mains operation, battery operation, remaining runtime, faults and battery replacement needs can be integrated into existing IT and operations processes.
This is especially important when servers, network components, controls or technical systems need to be shut down in a controlled way or alerted in advance.

- Battery operation and remaining runtime
- Shutdown concept
- Fault notifications
- Status monitoring
- Compatibility with the existing UPS
Bypass, alarm contacts and maintainability
Make maintenance and faults manageable
Bypass, service bypasses, maintenance bypasses and alarm contacts make UPS systems easier to service, inspect and monitor in operation. They help switch loads in a controlled way, pass on status information and make service visits easier to plan.
Especially for critical loads, it should be checked before purchase or replacement how maintenance, isolation, fault reporting and operating status reporting are implemented.

Rack rails, installation and service accessories
Accessories for rack, installation and service
A neatly installed UPS often requires more than just the unit and battery. Depending on the system and environment, rack rails, connection accessories, expansions, communication cards or service components may be needed.
ERREPI checks which accessories fit the form factor, installation location, existing system and later service needs.
- Rack rails
- Installation accessories
- Connection accessories
- Battery extensions
- Communication cards
- Spare parts
- Service accessories

Selection guide
Which accessories fit which need?
Not every accessory is needed in every UPS environment. What matters is the task to be solved: securing runtime, monitoring status, enabling maintenance or installing the system neatly.
What matters is the UPS model, number of batteries, voltage, capacity, age and runtime requirement.
Check replacement battery or battery kitWhat matters is SNMP compatibility, network management, alarming and the shutdown concept.
Check SNMP adapterWhat matters is bypass, isolation, connection type, power and maintenance window.
Check service bypass / maintenance bypassWhat matters is alarm contacts, interfaces, building management and technical monitoring.
Check alarm contactsWhat matters is rack rails, rack units, installation depth, weight and connection space.
Check rack accessoriesWhat matters is model, age, load, battery, accessories, successor and serviceability.

Frequently asked questions about UPS batteries and accessories
Which battery fits my UPS?
That depends on the UPS model, the existing battery, voltage, capacity, dimensions, connections and the number of batteries installed. If you send us the model and battery details, we will check the right replacement battery or battery set.
Can I replace a single UPS battery?
That depends on how the system is built. If several batteries work together as a set, the replacement should be assessed as a complete set. Replacing individual batteries on suspicion can lead to uneven loading and unreliable runtime.
What does 12V 9Ah mean for a UPS battery?
12V describes the battery voltage, 9Ah the capacity. But that information alone is not enough to choose the right one. Dimensions, connections, number of batteries and compatibility with the UPS must also match.
When should a UPS battery be replaced?
UPS batteries age depending on temperature, load, charging behavior and operating conditions. If runtime drops, the battery is old or the UPS reports a battery change, replacement should be considered.
Why do I need an SNMP adapter?
An SNMP adapter integrates suitable UPS systems into network management and monitoring. That makes it possible to monitor states such as battery operation, remaining runtime or faults and support shutdown processes.
What is a service bypass?
A service bypass or maintenance bypass allows a connected load to be routed around the UPS in a controlled way. That can be useful during maintenance, inspection or replacement.
What do alarm contacts do?
Alarm contacts can pass states or faults to external systems, for example building management systems, controllers or technical monitoring.
Can ERREPI check which accessories fit my system?
Yes. Send us the model, existing battery specifications, desired runtime, installation location and planned task. We will check whether a battery, battery kit, SNMP, bypass, alarm contacts, rack accessories or a service makes sense.
Next step
Not sure which battery or accessory fits?
We review the UPS system, model, battery details, age, desired runtime, installation location and maintenance window. After that it becomes clearer whether a replacement battery, battery kit, SNMP adapter, service bypass, alarm contacts, rack accessories or a service is needed.
