Autonomy time laboratory

Run through the UPS runtime with load, reserve and ERREPI product data.

The simulator loads available UPS models from the ERREPI product data. Performance, battery options and runtime are only used if this data is maintained. The site is a guide and does not replace technical planning.

Orientation according to load and target time

The selection comes from the ERREPI product data. Power classes, runtime curves or battery extensions that have not been maintained are not used in the dropdown. A demo UPS with example values is available for testing.

Autonomy time is the time during which a UPS supplies the connected load from the battery in the event of a power failure. In addition to watts and VA, reserve, battery condition, environment and service concept also count for a good selection.

What the simulator evaluates

The simulator first checks whether the entered load is within the rated power of the appropriate ERREPI UPS. An indicative running time is then calculated and compared with the desired target time.

For users, the benefit is a concrete introduction: If the target time is right, the simulator leads to the right product. If it is short, it leads to the interpretation request.

Why runtime is a range

Batteries do not behave linearly with short discharge times. Aging, temperature, state of charge, efficiency and the real load profile influence the usable energy. That's why the page shows guideline values and no binding guarantee period.

The simulator is a small practical check for initial load data. It does not replace specialist technical planning, protection needs analysis and binding UPS design.

For offers, critical infrastructure or longer runtimes, ERREPI checks the design with product data, battery options and the appropriate accessory paths. UPS consulting and project planning.

How this becomes an interpretation

The simulator uses prepared product pages and performance classes as orientation. The request can accommodate load, target time and product context, so sales doesn't have to start from scratch. The technical planning takes place in theProject planning.

FAQ

Can I use VA instead of Watt?

Yes. In technician mode, the power factor can be adjusted. The active power for the runtime estimation is derived from VA and power factor.

Why does the simulator sometimes recommend a larger UPS?

A UPS should not be operated permanently at the border. Reserve helps with load peaks, later expansions and battery aging.

When do I need advice?

The design should be checked for critical systems, generator operation, long target times, external battery, bypass requirement, poor power quality or unknown load profiles.

Have the design checked

Transfer load data from the simulator into a reliable UPS selection.

ERREPI checks runtime, reserve, battery, bypass, monitoring and service requirements together.
