Solutions

UPS solutions by area of application

Whether server room, network cabinet, practice, laboratory or industry: ERREPI helps to secure power supplies where downtimes become expensive, risky or organizationally critical.

The right UPS solution starts with the application. What is important is not just the performance, but also which consumers are protected, how long they have to run and how service, monitoring and expansion should work later.

From the application area to the right solution

Every environment has different requirements. A network cabinet needs different designs and messages than a server room, a practice or an industrial control system. ERREPI combines the UPS system, battery, accessories and service to create a solution that suits the task.

Typical areas of application help with the pre-selection. The specific design should then be performance, Autonomy time, protection class, space requirements and operating concept should be taken into account.

Server room and central IT

Servers, storage, virtualization, backup and central network components require plannable bridging, clear messages and often a controlled shutdown. VFI systems, SNMP integration, battery expansion and serviceability are often crucial here.

The load reserve, redundancy requirement, heat generation, rack installation, maintenance access and the question of whether an external service bypass makes sense are important.

Network cabinet, router and communication

Switches, firewalls, routers, telephone systems, WLAN controllers or NAS should continue to run stably during short power outages. The focus is often on compact 19-inch solutions, simple monitoring and sufficient runtime.

A uniform concept is particularly helpful in distributed locations: the same design, traceable battery changes, documented loads and clear escalation in the event of faults.

Practice, laboratory and sensitive devices

In practice and laboratory environments, device protection, orderly processes and low susceptibility to failure are what count. Measuring devices, IT, cooling systems, controls or documentation workstations can have different requirements for voltage, runtime and reporting.

Before making a selection, it should be clarified which devices really need to continue running and which should only be stopped in a controlled manner.

Industry, control and technical systems

Controllers, IPCs, communication modules, safety technology or process components often react sensitively to voltage drops and unplanned shutdowns. Load behavior, environment, network quality and service access must be considered particularly carefully.

Depending on the system, galvanic isolation, bypass, signaling contacts, robust battery planning or special installation requirements may be relevant.

System houses, planners and project business

For system houses and planners, ERREPI supports technical pre-selection, project positions, accessories, alternatives and service modules. This makes offers, customer discussions and later implementation easier.

Operators benefit from a solution that is not only sold, but can also be maintained and expanded in a transparent manner during operation.
