ERREPI OnPower GRT 1

Reliable 1000 VA online UPS in a compact tower format for optimal and uninterrupted protection of sensitive hardware.

Product description

A sudden power outage can lead to serious data loss and costly downtime. With this powerful uninterruptible power supply (UPS) using proven online technology, you are on the safe side because it operates with no transfer time. As a practical tower unit, it can be placed flexibly directly at the workstation or in the office. Thanks to its wide input voltage range, the device handles power grid fluctuations with confidence without immediately drawing on the battery, which significantly extends battery life. The integrated ECO mode ensures optimal energy efficiency in everyday use. The software needed for a controlled shutdown of your systems is included.

Notes

Safety information

Please always observe the basic safety regulations when installing and using the UPS system. Since life-threatening voltage levels are present inside the system, the IP20-rated enclosure may only be opened by qualified service personnel. Make sure that the system is properly grounded and operated in a compatible TN, IT, or TT power system. Always compare the nameplate data in advance with your mains supply and the total power consumption of the connected devices. To avoid fire hazards, the device may only be connected to a circuit protected by an easily accessible circuit breaker (rated value 20A, trip curve C). For hardwired systems, an external disconnect switch is required, while for plug-in devices the socket must be close by and easily accessible. Always follow all connection and operating instructions in the manual in the exact order specified. Choose the installation location of the UPS carefully. The system must never be installed near liquids, in excessively humid environments, in direct sunlight, or near heat sources. Make sure that no foreign objects enter the interior and that the ventilation grilles are never blocked so that adequate cooling is ensured. If temporary storage is necessary, it must be in a dry location. The permitted storage temperatures are between -25 °C and +55 °C without batteries and between 0 °C and +40 °C with batteries, with temperatures below 25 °C recommended for optimal battery life. Special care is required when handling the installed batteries, as they contain small amounts of toxic substances and pose a risk of electric shock and high short-circuit currents. Maintenance may only be performed or supervised by personnel familiar with the required precautions. When replacing batteries, exactly the same battery type and the same number of batteries must be used, as incorrect models can pose an explosion hazard. Batteries must never be disposed of in fire, opened, or mechanically destroyed. The electrolyte that escapes in the process is toxic and can cause severe burns to the skin and eyes. Always dispose of used batteries properly and in accordance with applicable legal regulations.

Disposal information

This product and the batteries it contains are subject to strict European and national environmental regulations and must not under any circumstances be disposed of with normal household waste at the end of their service life. The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol on the device indicates that the UPS system must be collected separately from unsorted municipal waste. Please take the retired device to an official municipal collection point, such as a recycling center, or return it to an electronics retailer or the manufacturer for proper recycling. Remember to reset network-capable management cards to factory settings in advance to delete any stored network configurations. Special attention is required for the lead-acid batteries installed in the UPS, as they contain toxic heavy metals and corrosive acids that can cause serious environmental damage if disposed of improperly. If possible, remove the batteries from the system before disposal and take them to a separate battery collection point. Used industrial batteries can be handed in free of charge to the manufacturer, distributor, or special take-back systems. To avoid short circuits and the associated fire or explosion hazards, cover the exposed battery terminals with insulating tape before transport. Packaging materials should also be recycled properly for environmental reasons: dispose of cardboard and paper in the paper recycling, while films, polystyrene, and plastic straps belong in the appropriate recyclable materials collection, such as the yellow bag or yellow bin.
