UPS
With 2000 VA output, this online UPS tower offers generous reserves and maximum protection for critical IT and communications systems.
Data loss and costly business interruptions are a thing of the past with this powerful tower UPS. Thanks to true online double-conversion technology, the system delivers clean power at all times - completely seamlessly and without any transfer time. The flexible tower unit can be placed in a space-saving manner directly in the office or at the workstation. A wide input voltage window absorbs grid fluctuations with ease, protects the integrated batteries, and maximizes battery life. In normal operation, the intelligent ECO mode keeps energy consumption to a minimum, while the included management software guarantees a safe, automated shutdown of your systems during longer blackouts.
Please always observe the basic safety regulations when installing and using the UPS system. Since life-threatening voltages are present inside the system, the IP20-rated enclosure may only be opened by qualified service personnel. Make sure the system is properly grounded and operated in a compatible TN, IT, or TT power system. Compare the nameplate data with your mains supply and the total load of the devices to be connected before use. To avoid fire hazards, the device may only be connected to a circuit protected by an easily accessible circuit breaker (rated 20A, trip curve C). For hardwired systems, an external disconnect switch is required, while for plug-in devices the socket must be nearby and easily accessible. Always follow the installation and operating instructions in the manual in the exact order given. Choose the installation location of the UPS carefully. The system must never be installed near liquids, in excessively humid environments, in direct sunlight, or near heat sources. Make sure that no foreign objects get inside and that the ventilation openings are never blocked to ensure adequate cooling. If interim storage is necessary, it must be kept in a dry place. Permissible storage temperatures are between -25 °C and +55 °C without batteries and between 0 °C and +40 °C with batteries, with temperatures below 25 °C recommended for optimal battery service life. Exercise particular caution when handling the installed batteries, as they contain small amounts of toxic substances and pose a risk of electric shock and high short-circuit currents. Maintenance may only be performed or supervised by personnel familiar with the required precautions. When replacing batteries, exactly the same battery type and the same number of batteries must be used, as incorrect models create a risk of explosion. Batteries must never be disposed of in fire, opened, or mechanically destroyed. The electrolyte released in the process is toxic and can cause severe burns to the skin and eyes. Always dispose of used batteries properly and in accordance with the applicable legal requirements.
This product and the batteries contained in it are subject to strict European and national environmental regulations and must never be disposed of with normal household waste at the end of their service life. The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol on the device indicates that the UPS system must be collected separately from unsorted municipal waste. Please take the retired device to an official municipal collection point, such as a recycling center, or return it to an electronics retailer or the manufacturer for proper recycling. Remember to reset network-capable management cards to factory settings beforehand to delete any stored network configurations. Special attention is required for the lead batteries installed in the UPS, as they contain toxic heavy metals and corrosive acids that can cause serious environmental damage if disposed of improperly. If possible, remove the batteries from the system before disposal and take them to a separate battery collection point. Used industrial batteries can be returned free of charge to the manufacturer, distributor, or special take-back systems. To avoid short circuits and the associated fire or explosion hazards, tape over the exposed battery terminals with insulating tape before transport. Packaging materials should also be recycled properly: dispose of cardboard and paper with waste paper, while films, Styrofoam, and plastic straps belong in the appropriate recycling collection, such as the yellow bag or yellow bin.
