UPS
Powerful online UPS with 10000 watts as a stand-alone unit for maximum reliability, including management software and a maintenance-free battery.
This uninterruptible power supply utilizes state-of-the-art online technology and delivers a massive power output of 10,000 VA (or 10,000 watts). Designed as a practical tower unit, the system features a wide input voltage range of 120 to 276 volts, depending on the load. Standard features include an automatic bypass and an energy-saving ECO mode. The integrated lead-acid battery is completely maintenance-free, ensuring smooth and reliable operation. Communication options include an RS232 interface and a USB port. A suitable data cable and the necessary shutdown management software are included. If required, the system can be expanded with an AS400 interface (OP GRT), an external service bypass (BY63-f-1/1), or an SNMP adapter (SNMP-GRT). The robust unit weighs 76 kilograms and occupies 5 rack units; it measures 438 millimeters in width (suitable for 19-inch environments) and 559 millimeters in depth. An additional 100 millimeters of clearance is required at the rear for connections and cable routing.
Please observe the basic safety regulations at all times when installing and using the UPS system. Since life-threatening voltage levels are present inside the system, the IP20-rated enclosure may only be opened by qualified service personnel. Make sure the system is properly grounded and operated in a compatible TN, IT, or TT power system. Before installation, be sure to compare the specifications on the nameplate with your power grid and the total load of the connected devices. To avoid fire hazards, the unit may only be connected to a circuit protected by an easily accessible circuit breaker (rated 20A, trip curve C). For hardwired systems, an external disconnect switch is required, while for plug-in devices the socket must be located nearby and be easy to reach. Always follow all connection and operating instructions in the manual in the exact order given. Choose the installation location of the UPS carefully. The system must never be installed near liquids, in excessively humid environments, in direct sunlight, or near heat sources. Make sure that no foreign objects can enter the interior and that the ventilation grilles are never blocked so that sufficient cooling is ensured. If temporary storage is required, it must be kept in a dry location. Permissible storage temperatures are between -25 °C and +55 °C without batteries and between 0 °C and +40 °C with batteries, with temperatures below 25 °C recommended for optimal battery service life. Special caution is required when handling the installed batteries, as they contain small amounts of toxic substances and pose the risk of electric shock and high short-circuit currents. Maintenance may only be carried out or supervised by personnel familiar with the necessary precautions. When replacing batteries, the exact same battery type and the same number of batteries must be used, as incorrect models present an explosion hazard. Batteries must under no circumstances be disposed of in fire, opened, or mechanically destroyed. The electrolyte that escapes in the process is toxic and can cause severe burns to the skin and eyes. Always dispose of used batteries properly and in accordance with the applicable legal requirements.
This product and the batteries contained in it are subject to strict European and national environmental regulations and must never be disposed of with normal household waste at the end of their service life. The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol on the device indicates that the UPS must be collected separately from unsorted municipal waste. Please take the retired device to an official municipal collection point, such as a recycling center, or return it to an electronics retailer or the manufacturer for proper recycling. Remember to reset network-capable management cards to factory settings in advance to delete any stored network configurations. Special attention is required for the lead batteries installed in the UPS, as they contain toxic heavy metals and corrosive acids that can cause serious environmental damage if disposed of improperly. Remove the batteries from the system before disposal if possible and send them to separate battery collection. Used industrial batteries can be handed in free of charge to the manufacturer, the distributor, or special take-back systems. To prevent short circuits and the associated fire or explosion hazards, tape over the exposed battery terminals with insulating tape before transport. Packaging materials should also be recycled properly for environmental reasons: dispose of cardboard and paper in the paper recycling, while film, Styrofoam, and plastic straps belong in the appropriate recycling stream, such as the yellow bag or yellow bin.
