ERREPI OnPower OP GRT6

Powerful online UPS with 6000 watts for tower operation, including automatic bypass, maintenance-free battery and management software.

Product description

This powerful uninterruptible power supply in online technology offers maximum protection for your sensitive networks with 6000 VA and 6000 watts. The robust tower unit features a wide input voltage range from 120 to 276 volts depending on the connected load, as well as an automatic bypass and an energy-saving ECO mode. A maintenance-free lead-acid battery guarantees permanently reliable operation. Communication is provided as standard via an RS232 interface and a USB interface. The corresponding data cable as well as the matching management software and shutdown software are already included in the scope of delivery. If needed, the system can optionally be expanded with an AS400 interface OP GRT, an external service bypass BY63 f 1/1 or an SNMP adapter SNMP GRT. The 60-kilogram unit requires only an additional 100 millimeters of rear clearance for cabling and connections despite its compact dimensions of 5U, 438 millimeters wide and 559 millimeters deep.

Notes

Safety information

Please always observe the basic safety regulations when installing and using the UPS system. Because life-threatening voltage levels are present inside the system, the IP20 enclosure may only be opened by qualified service personnel. Make sure the system is properly grounded and operated in a compatible TN, IT or TT power system. Be sure to compare the rating plate information with your mains supply and the total power consumption of the connected devices in advance. To avoid fire hazards, the device may only be connected to a circuit protected by an easily accessible circuit breaker (rated at 20A, C tripping characteristic). For hardwired systems, an external disconnect switch is required, while for plug-in devices the socket must be in the immediate vicinity and easily accessible. Always follow all connection and operating instructions in the manual in the exact order specified. Choose the installation location of the UPS carefully. The system must never be installed near liquids, in excessively humid environments or in direct sunlight, or near heat sources. Make sure that no foreign objects enter the interior and that the ventilation grilles are never blocked to ensure adequate cooling. If interim storage is necessary, it must take place in a dry location. Permissible storage temperatures are between -25 °C and +55 °C without batteries and between 0 °C and +40 °C with batteries, with temperatures below 25 °C recommended for optimal battery life. Special caution is required when handling the installed batteries, as they contain small amounts of toxic substances and pose a risk of electric shock as well as high short-circuit currents. Maintenance may only be performed or supervised by personnel familiar with the necessary precautions. When replacing batteries, exactly the same battery type and the same number of batteries must be used, as incorrect models create a risk of explosion. Batteries must under no circumstances be disposed of in fire, opened or mechanically destroyed. The electrolyte released in this process is toxic and can cause severe chemical burns to skin and eyes. Always dispose of used batteries properly and in accordance with the applicable legal requirements.

Disposal information

This product and the batteries contained in it are subject to strict European and national environmental regulations and must never be disposed of with normal household waste at the end of their service life. The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol on the device indicates that the UPS must be collected separately from unsorted municipal waste. Please take the retired device to an official municipal collection point, such as a recycling center, or return it to an electronics retailer or the manufacturer for proper recycling. Remember to reset network-capable management cards to factory settings in advance to delete any stored network configurations. Special attention is required for the lead batteries installed in the UPS, as they contain toxic heavy metals and corrosive acids that can cause serious environmental damage if disposed of improperly. Remove the batteries from the system before disposal if possible and send them to separate battery collection. Used industrial batteries can be handed in free of charge to the manufacturer, the distributor, or special take-back systems. To prevent short circuits and the associated fire or explosion hazards, tape over the exposed battery terminals with insulating tape before transport. Packaging materials should also be recycled properly for environmental reasons: dispose of cardboard and paper in the paper recycling, while film, Styrofoam, and plastic straps belong in the appropriate recycling stream, such as the yellow bag or yellow bin.
